EU FACTOR – a project funded by the European Union to communicate the contribution of cohesion policies to the lives of citizens, led by Innovacoop – will also make its contribution to liven up the return to the desks. Partners of EU FACTOR are Legacoop Emilia-Romagna, Legacoop Emilia Ovest, Sunset, TRMedia, Cooperdiem, Tuttifrutti, Area Ag.
As part of the photo contest #LaTuaEuropa, promoted by the EU FACTOR project, some schools in Emilia-Romagna competed to win the contest prizes.
The award ceremony, held last June at Chiostri di San Pietro in Reggio Emilia, showcased, in particular, the photographs of two schools: the Liceo Leonardo da Vinci of Casalecchio di Reno and the Liceo Sanvitale of Parma, which were awarded for having developed highly topical and thought-provoking themes such as sustainable mobility and the union between EU Member States. In addition, both classes showed great commitment and willingness to explore European topics and have their say on the future of the European Union.
As a prize, class 5AU (a.s. 2023/2024) of the Liceo Leonardo da Vinci will be the guest in Rome on 25 September of Europa Experience, an interactive miniature European Parliament dedicated to the former President of the European Parliament David Sassoli, who passed away in 2022, and who distinguished himself for having taken extraordinary measures for the EU during his term of office with a strong focus on EU values.
Through a multimedia tour, immersive installations and an interactive role-playing game, Europa Experience will give students the opportunity to discover how the European Union works, its impact on the lives of its citizens and how citizens themselves can be involved in European decisions.
Class 5B (a.s. 2023/2024) of the Liceo Sanvitale of Parma will be the guest on 21 September of TRMedia, partner of the EU FACTOR project, in the TV studios of Modena, with the aim of getting to know the behind-the-scenes of TV and creating new content on current EU issues that are conveyed through Cohesion Clips, the programme that has been broadcasted weekly since a year on TRMedia’s TV channels, on the website and on all the project’s social networks (Instagram, Facebook, Linkedin and YouTube).
The activities aimed at girls and boys that EU FACTOR will carry out throughout the month of September can be viewed on the website www.eufactor.it and on EU FACTOR’s social networks.

Clip of Cohesion #2 – KOHESIO, an European Union tool which maps the thousands of projects financed with cohesion policies
During the last edition of We Make Future, International Fair and Festival on Technological and Digital Innovation, Eu Factor organized a Hackathon that involved 30 young people, divided into teams and with different skills, for the creation of a communication campaign on European Cohesion Policy.
Many were the communication companies present at the fair and, just during the three days, Roberta Trovarelli, project manager of Eu Factor, was interviewed by Mentarossa – communication agency for an episode of “Punto di infusione”, a podcast characterized by an original tone, playful and with different points of reflection and discussion.
The podcast episode “A European project on cohesion communication and sustainability. In the time of an infusion with Roberta Trovarelli of Innovacoop” presents the Hackathon of Eu Factor, the progress work during the two days of activity and the mood of the participating teams. Moreover, themes on innovation and sustainability are addressed, meeting points between Eu Factor and Mentarossa.

New entrepreneurs learn and exchange knowledge and business ideas with established entrepreneurs, from whom they are hosted and with whom they collaborate for a period of 1 to 6 months. The stay is co-financed by the European Commission.
A double and concrete opportunity: on the one hand, the young entrepreneur lives an experience of training in the workplace at an SME based in another participating country; on the other hand, it activates relations with new markets, with the possibility to undertake international collaboration relationships and exploit potential opportunities for cooperation with foreign partners.
The programme is also beneficial for established entrepreneurs who can benefit from the stimulus provided by motivated, competent and well-trained young people.
There is no doubt that this is a collaboration from which both sides can benefit enormously, since it offers both sides new market opportunities at European level, the ability to identify new business partners and discover different ways of doing business.
In the long term, the benefits could extend to the creation of a broad network of contacts and the decision to continue cooperation, perhaps as stable business partners.
The “Erasmus for young entrepreneurs” programme is funded by the European Commission and operates throughout the participating countries thanks to the collaboration of local contact centres active in the field of business support (such as chambers of commerce, business start-up centres, business incubators, etc.). Their activities are coordinated at European level by the Programme Support Office.

Dialogue with citizens, starting with young people, was one of the issues that was particularly important to the former president Sassoli.
“Europa Experience” is a project that provides for the opening of multimedia centres in all the capitals of the 27 Member States.
Inside the structure you can live a multimedia path that, through interactive devices and role-playing games, allows you to immerse yourself in the functioning of the European Union, offering the visitor a direct view of how the collaboration takes place to address the most important challenges of the present.
The centres promote knowledge of the EU, its actors, policies and campaigns, but also the values of democracy, inclusion, accessibility and multilingualism.
The main objectives are three in particular: to present Europe as a whole and to ensure that citizens understand the impact of European democracy in their lives, to provide interactive and up-to-date content on the EU, act at local level and involve the citizens of the Member States in an efficient manner.
The area also has a conference room for events, seminars and debates: a place aimed at encouraging the meeting between citizens, stakeholders and European parliamentarians.
