The European Commission chose the theme of skills for the awareness-raising campaign of the European Year 2023, confirming it for 2024 as well, indicating the will to address this issue in future policies. In line with the European Year of Competencies, the Emilia-Romagna Region has approved Regional Law 2\/2023 <\/strong>for the attraction, retention and valorisation of highly specialised talents, aimed at improving the attractiveness, innovation and competitiveness of the regional system. We interviewed Lara Porciatti from ART-ER to explore the regional initiatives, especially those related to digital transition. The aim of the article is to analyse the European skills framework and the main initiatives undertaken at EU and regional level for training and talent attraction.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
