In today’s episode we will talk about the ‘AL VIA Guarantee Fund’ project.
‘AL VIA’ is a financial instrument promoted by the Lombardy Region to support Lombardy’s SMEs. The main objectives of the fund are to revitalise the regional production system, facilitate access to credit for companies and support their modernisation and productive expansion.
This instrument was financed with both European and regional funds. In particular, with the resources of the operational programme fund of the Lombardy Region, through Structural Funds related to the 2014-2020 programming, and the contribution of FinLombarda. The public cost monitored is € 79,450,816.69.
The programme has been very successful, with over 1,000 applications received and more than 600 projects funded, totalling almost EUR 350 million in private investment. The programme has been so successful thanks to the public-private partnership, which has made it possible to expand the number of beneficiaries and to have a positive impact on the Lombardy economy.
